Fans loved Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour so much, she came back for round two with opener Young Miko — and thank goodness she did.

On Oct. 23, 2025, the “Birds of a Feather” singer took the stage at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Center for the latest stop on her tour. The crowd, decked out in Eilish merch and her signature accessories — from bandanas to dress ties — brought high energy even before the lights dimmed.

Eilish kicked off the show perched atop a suspended cage, each side glowing with translucent visuals that set an otherworldly tone. Live bandmates and engineers were located in divots in the stage. She opened with “CHIHIRO” and “LUNCH,” two standout tracks from her latest album “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” before diving into fan favorites like “NDA” and “Therefore I Am.”

It was nearly impossible not to be hypnotized by her presence — her movements, voice, and charisma filled every inch of the arena. The lighting design amplified that energy, shifting in sync with the music to create a truly immersive experience. The stage sat in the center of the venue, giving fans a full 360-degree view of the performance. Overhead, massive screens displayed close-ups of Eilish, adding cinematic flair to each moment. Combined with sharp lasers, vivid projections, and clever lighting, the visuals turned the concert into something that felt as if it could have been part of an art installation.

“You ready to have some fun?” Eilish asked after her power-packed opening sequence. With many fans on the edge of their seats waiting for another high-energy song, she transitioned instead into one of the saddest tracks in her discography, “WILDFLOWER,” from her newest album. The jumping and cheering quickly turned into a flashlight-and-wave moment — a deeply emotional scene for everyone in the crowd.

As the noise faded and the energy softened, Eilish asked for a moment of silence from the entire arena. Her request was fulfilled instantly. Sitting in the middle of the stage with the lights low, she became the only thing to focus on. Curious to see what she had planned, fans watched as she began to hum one of the harmonies from the intro of “when the party’s over.” The harmony was recorded and looped while she layered more vocals on top, one by one. Once all the main harmonies were set, she started singing the lyrics, filling the venue with a raw, emotional performance. The crowd cheered at the creativity and intimacy of the moment.

Contrasting the previous two songs, Billie transitioned into some of her more positively chaotic tracks — “THE DINER,” “ilomilo,” and “bad guy.” The timing could not have been better, with the darker energy perfectly fitting the Halloween season. The entire arena danced along, the chaos peaking during this sequence. Mirroring the pattern of her earlier set — powerful songs followed by something slower — Eilish then performed “SKINNY” with background singers Ava and Jane, a raw and honest track that had the crowd singing softly beside her, before transitioning into a jazz cover of “I’m In The Mood For Love.”

This cover was beautiful. Her soothing voice fit the track perfectly, and the arena during this performance felt very warm, the lights a romantic shade of sunset orange. After this fuzzy, soft feeling of her jazz cover, she hit the audience hard with tracks like “bury a friend,” “Oxytocin,” and her cover of “Guess” by Charli XCX, a track she is featured on. During “Guess,” Billie strayed away from the main stage and popped up (literally) on a stage to the side. The arena was filled with lime-green lights and jumping fans — another high point in the show. Her contrast in discography throughout the runtime of the show perfectly matches the name and brand of the tour.

The final few songs of the show were polarizing, but they paid tribute to the entire brand of the tour. Eilish introduced a medley of “lovely / BLUE / ocean eyes,” where she showed off her piano skills and falsetto vocals before transitioning into “L’AMOUR DE MA VIE [OVER NOW EXTENDED EDIT],” a hyper-pop synth song that felt like the perfect finale.

However, it was not the finale quite yet. After wishing the crowd goodnight, Eilish returned to perform her final three songs: “What Was I Made For?,” “Happier Than Ever,” and “BIRDS OF A FEATHER.” This combination was the perfect way to end the show. The calming intimacy of “What Was I Made For?” felt genuine, a stark contrast to Billie ripping it on the guitar during “Happier Than Ever,” followed by a heartwarming performance of “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” confetti dispersing throughout the entire arena.

Billie Eilish and her team did not disappoint and brought their A-game to Philadelphia, perfectly reflecting the tour’s name. The Triangle cannot wait to see what she does next!
